KAREN BARQUERO - Parent of an IB student.
The International Baccalaureate is recognized as the world’s best high school curriculum for its high level of academics for fifth and sixth-year students.
You can provide your child with a quality education, far removed from memorization-based traditional practices. The IB program lets students show what they’ve learned through teaching methods that are critical and analytical.
¿Are scholarships available so my son or daughter can study the IB?
Students who choose to study the International Baccalaureate in a public school that has adopted the program all receive full scholarships. The program lasts two years (fifth and sixth years).
By allowing your child to study an extra year in high school, you’re providing him/her with an international-quality education.
The IB program in a private school comes with a high cost to match its high quality. But through this sponsorship program, your child can receive a full scholarship.
IB students fit a profile. They are young people who are committed, investigative, analytic, creative, responsible and eager to learn. They distance themselves from the traditional memorization-based methods of modern education.
If your child fits the description of an IB student and if you would like the public high school your child attends to adopt the IB program, contact the school’s principal and provide him/her with this information about our association.
